Editor’s Note
This article announces the call for entries for Japan’s 67th National Catalog Exhibition, highlighting the catalog’s enduring role as a vital promotional medium and the creative effort behind each publication.

The Sankei Shimbun and the Japan Federation of Printing Industries will hold the competition “The 67th National Catalog Exhibition” and are now accepting entries. “Catalogs” are an indispensable medium for publicizing and promoting goods, products, and services. Expression techniques are evolving daily, and each catalog represents remarkable effort. This exhibition aims to honor and publicly display such excellent catalogs to convey their appeal.
A rigorous judging process will involve designers, creative professionals, academics, and officials from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) to select award-winning works. An exhibition will be held in January next year at the “Brick Gallery” in the Tokyo Sankei Building, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, and in February at Heiwa Paper’s Paper Voice Osaka in Chuo Ward, Osaka City.
