This article highlights Bvlgari’s significant investment in both its manufacturing footprint and future talent. The launch of its Scuola at the world’s largest single-brand jewelry factory in Valenza underscores a strategic commitment to craftsmanship and securing the next generation of artisans for the luxury sector.

The House of Bvlgari is launching an appeal to future jewelry-making talent with the opening of registrations for its Scuola, at the heart of its Valenza factory. It’s an initiative that’s bringing Italian luxury to Parisian shop windows.
Bvlgari is developing an ambitious training project in Valenza, Italy. The jewellery house, owned by the LVMH group, recently expanded its manufacturing facility to 33,000 m². This makes it the world’s largest single-brand jewelry factory, a title worthy of Bvlgari’s ambitions.

But beyond the industrial stakes, the brand is betting on the transmission of know-how, a priority in a luxury sector in search of renewal. With this in mind, the Scuola Bvlgari was inaugurated. Located directly in the factory, the school is the fruit of a partnership with the Tarì Design School (TADS). Until now, Bvlgari’s in-house training – the Bvlgari Academy – has been reserved for its employees.
Open to high school graduates, the Scuola Bvlgari will offer two courses: one in goldsmithing (1,680 hours) and the other in gem-setting (600 hours). The courses are scheduled to start in September 2025, with immersive teaching directly rooted in the production environment.

Bvlgari makes no secret of its ambitions: to double its production capacity by 2029 and employ more than 1,600 people at the site. This development reflects a strategic desire to perpetuate the craft trades, at a time when recruitment is becoming a major challenge for luxury brands.

In Paris, the world capital of haute joaillerie, this Italian initiative has a strong resonance. Bvlgari showcases on Avenue George-V and Place Vendôme will soon feature the creations of this new generation of craftsmen. A clear link with the demanding clientele of Paris’s luxury districts, in search of exceptional objects and transparent provenance.
