This article details the high-level political and institutional participation at the opening ceremony, underscoring the event’s significance on both national and regional stages.

The opening ceremony was attended by high-profile guests: In addition to welcoming speeches by Italy’s Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, and Luca Zaia, President of the Veneto Region, participants included IEG President Maurizio Ermeti, the Mayor of Vicenza, Giacomo Possamai, as well as representatives from Federorafi and the Italian Trade Agency. International media partners also followed the ceremony via livestream.
Vicenzaoro once again presents itself as a comprehensive “boutique show” for the industry:
⊕ ICON bundles the leading high-end brands.

⊕ The Design Room puts top designers in the spotlight.
⊕ Creation and Expression present jewelry production, semi-finished products, and packaging.
⊕ Look showcases trend brands – an area particularly exciting for retailers ahead of the winter holidays.
⊕ In the Essence District, the focus is on diamonds, precious and colored stones.
⊕ Time gathers watchmaking and accessories.

⊕ And in the Palakiss area (Delivery), jewelers can shop directly and quickly restock their store windows.
Running parallel is the new edition of VO Vintage: The open marketplace for vintage watches and jewelry is accessible until Monday, September 8, offering collectors and end customers exclusive pieces and expert talks.
A highlight of the fair is the presentation of the Trendbook 2027+ by Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting. It provides specialist retailers and manufacturers with concrete previews of jewelry styles, consumer behavior, and market scenarios for the coming years.
