Puneet Vardhan Gupta, founder of P/M Tools & Abrasives, established the company after completing his Mechanical Engineering education from IIT Roorkee in 1994 and gaining industrial experience. The company started with the manufacturing of a 4-inch cutter. From the beginning, his focus has been on empowering artisans who work manually. Today, the company is also manufacturing various types of machines along with diamond tools for large-scale stone processing.
P/M Tools & Abrasives currently provides taper shank metal bond core drills, electroplated core drills, 1/2-inch BSP adapter metal bond core drills in brass and steel bodies, straight shank metal bond core drills, various sized parting blades, small sized mounted point pins, and CNC milling and grooving diamond tools in the circular diamond core drill category for glass and ceramics.
Along with this, the company is prominently manufacturing profiling and molding tools, electroplated mounted points, 4-inch circular saws, cut-off wheels (chakri), electroplated diamond files, metal bonded core drills, polishing blades and segments, grinding wheels and discs in the metal bonded, vacuum brazed and electroplated tools categories.
In the diamond core drills category, the company manufactures small and large sized core drills, core drills for concrete sampling, concrete cutting segment saws, diamond segmented circular saws, molding blades, cup wheels and diamond segments.
For polishing and grinding of wood, stone, glass, knives, carbide and stainless steel tools, the company is also preparing diamond flexible sheets, diamond sharpeners, knife sharpeners, vacuum brazed tools, diamond/carbide pads, PCD grinding cup wheels, diamond and carbide grinding wheels, and drill guides. Shailendra Mishra and Rahul Kumar Mishra are playing active roles in the company’s operations.
Puneet Vardhan Gupta informed that the company has launched tools for several machines related to stone cutting and engraving at Stonemart-2026. These include a Sink Hole Machine, Self-Priming Multi-Function Cutting Machine, Multi-Function CNC Engraving Machine for stone and glass, an Impact Engraving Machine that gives a chisel-hammer like look, a machine for drilling holes in stone and walls, a Table-Top Aging and Molding Machine, a 4-inch cutter machine, and a technique for molding using a grinder.
At India Stonemart-2026, the company also displayed organic products such as Desi Khand (unrefined sugar), edible oil, rice, wheat, and various types of biscuits alongside machine tools.
Puneet Vardhan Gupta, besides being a successful entrepreneur, believes in adopting a lifestyle according to the Vedas. He considers natural agriculture as the foundation of the future and is working in this direction together with Prof. Shivaji Upadhyay, Dr. Chintamani Joshi, Engineer Shailendra Mishra, and Dr. Rahul Kumar Mishra.
He highlighted the importance of Vedic agriculture through the four colors of the Indian flag, explaining that saffron symbolizes courage and strength, white symbolizes peace and harmony, green symbolizes nature and prosperity, and blue, through the Dharma Chakra, conveys a message of balance and universal welfare.
