Alicia Vikander appeared at the 2026 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) ceremony, held in London on February 22 (local time), wearing a custom-made Louis Vuitton dress.
Alicia Vikander wore a two-piece ensemble in blue double silk satin and silk crepe, featuring a top with multi-colored embroidery all over and a long column skirt, paired with silver metallic platform shoes.
She also wore the “Seduction” ring, set with a 6.03-carat fancy vivid orange-yellow emerald-cut diamond, and the “Galaxy” earrings from the Maison’s High Jewelry collection.
From the beauty collection “La Beauté Louis Vuitton,” she wore “LV Rouge 105 Nude Necessaire” and “LV Ombre 150 Beige Memento.”
The blue two-piece worn by Alicia Vikander represents the pinnacle of hand-embroidery craftsmanship. The bodice was created by 10 skilled artisans over approximately 275 hours in total, while the skirt was made by 5 artisans over approximately 682 hours in total.
Utilizing Aari embroidery and Zardozi techniques, a variety of materials, shapes, and colors were employed. The materials used include 2,010 square stones, 3,050 round stones, 860 navette stones, 100g of color-specific peanut beads, 890 drop elements, 1,580 Minakari enamel pieces in special shapes and sizes, 280g of round silver beads, and 25g of silver spangles.
Each decoration was meticulously applied by hand, reflecting the artisans’ exquisite skill.
