The 2026 tour schedule for the Watchmaker Mobile, a key industry initiative, has been announced ahead of INHORGENTA. The mobile workshop will launch at the Munich trade fair in February, with a full calendar of over two dozen operational days already confirmed.

The 2026 schedule for the Watchmaker Mobile is well filled. The Central Association for Watches, Jewelry, and Time Measurement Technology (ZV) announced this two weeks before the start of the leading industry trade fair INHORGENTA. The “Mobile Workshop” of the Federal Guild Association will kick off the event year from February 20-23 at the trade fair in Munich. Fourteen appearances with a total of 26 operational days are already firmly scheduled, with further events in planning.
At INHORGENTA, members are to be motivated to use the mobile unit and further supporters for the campaign are to be won. The primary goal of the Watchmaker Mobile is to attract young people to training in the watchmaking craft.

In addition to INHORGENTA/Messe München, the watch manufacturer Seiko and the insurance provider Wertgarantie have been secured as new sponsors. Also continuing as supporters and sponsors of the Watchmaker Mobile in 2026 are: Beco Technic, Boley, Casio, Favor, G-Shock, Juwelier Hilscher, Kieninger, Erwin Sattler, Sinn, Tutima, Valorima/Mannheimer Versicherung, Vector Technik, Wempe, Witschi, and Zeppelin (PointTec).
During its launch year of 2025, the Watchmaker Mobile was already deployed at 12 events with 23 event days, accompanied by dedicated master watchmakers. Several member companies also used the vehicle with their own personnel resources in their region. The technical equipment of the mobile unit and the setup of the workshop with tools and demonstration materials were continuously expanded throughout the year. The addition of advertising materials and presentation technology, as well as the accompanying social media campaign, ensure even more attention for the Watchmaker Mobile’s appearances on-site. Sponsors benefit not only from the advertising impact of their company logo on the mobile unit and in accompanying publications but primarily through integration into social media activities on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

The Watchmaker Mobile is an initiative for the future of the watchmaking craft. The fully equipped workshop on wheels promotes training in watchmaking at career fairs, regional exhibitions, and career orientation events, creating broad public awareness for the craft itself. In addition to dates selected by the Central Association, member guilds and members can use the mobile workshop free of charge for their own events. The regional appearances are accompanied by social media activities, regional press work, and a training position exchange at http://www.wie-tickst-du.de.
