A proposed date has emerged for the inauguration of the Rajasthan government’s dream project, the HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL). Prime Minister Narendra Modi may come to inaugurate the refinery established in the Pachpadra area of Balotra district on January 28.
The Pachpadra Refinery is the country’s first such project where a petrochemical complex has also been established alongside it. For this reason, this project holds special significance not only for Rajasthan but also on the country’s industrial map. Regarding the inauguration ceremony, the administration appears fully alert regarding all necessary arrangements including security, traffic, public meeting venue, parking, drinking water, and medical facilities. Along with repairing the roads of the city of Pachpadra and the highways, extensive security arrangements are being made in the refinery area.

The Panchayat Samiti Balotra has initiated the e-tender process for the food arrangements for people coming to the refinery inauguration ceremony. Panchayat Samiti Balotra has invited e-tenders for the supply of food packets for an estimated 50 thousand people at the ceremony.
According to the e-tender issued by Development Officer Heera Ram Kalbi, the estimated cost for 50 thousand food packets has been set at 30 lakh rupees. The e-tender forms will be received online until 12 noon on January 5, 2026, and will be opened before the bidders at 3 pm on the same day.
According to information, extensive preparations are also being made for the publicity and promotion of the refinery inauguration ceremony. Considering the possibility of more than two lakh people attending the event, promotional material is being prepared accordingly so that information can reach as many people as possible.

It is likely that a large number of people from various districts of western Rajasthan including Balotra, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pali, Jalore, Sirohi, Nagaur, Bikaner, Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Sri Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh will participate in the ceremony. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the Pachpadra area regarding the refinery inauguration, and it is being viewed as a historic event not only for Balotra district but for the entire western Rajasthan.
