The incident occurred when a woman was wearing her gold chain outdoors. A pigeon, seemingly attracted by the shiny object, swooped down, grabbed the chain in its beak, and flew away before anyone could react. The entire sequence was quick and left the woman and bystanders stunned.
The video of the incident has gone viral on social media, with users dubbing the pigeon a ‘winged thief’. Many expressed disbelief at the audacity and precision of the bird’s action. Local authorities were informed, but recovering the chain from the pigeon is considered highly unlikely.
