This report details enforcement action against industrial units allegedly involved in persistent illegal mining. The power disconnection underscores a regulatory crackdown on repeat offenders, highlighting the intersection of environmental compliance and energy supply.

Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (UHBVNL) has disconnected power connections of 17 stone crushers and screening plants in Yamunanagar district.
The action came after those plants were allegedly found indulging in illegal mining despite FIRs being registered against them in connection with illegal mining in the past.
