The chain was worth approximately one lakh rupees. As soon as the information spread, a crowd gathered at the spot.
In the Rameshwar Plaza market, artisan Samin Bengali was crafting a gold chain around 12 noon in a shop located above a jewelry store. During this time, some pigeons came and sat near the window of the room. Suddenly, one pigeon grabbed the prepared seven-gram gold chain with its beak, flew away, and perched on a nearby roof.
