【Hong Kong】A Duet Of Dazzling Jewellery Shows Return To Hong Kong

Editor’s Note

This March, Hong Kong hosts twin jewellery exhibitions under the theme “Fusion of Dazzling Beauty,” showcasing nature’s brilliance through precious gems.

Twin Shows Under “Fusion of Dazzling Beauty”

There are few things more mesmerising than precious gems. Watching rainbow beams of light reflecting off a diamond, seeing a luminous pearl plucked fresh from its shell. They’re reminders of nature’s endless beauty, and this March, gem enthusiasts can revel in the natural world’s splendour at twin jewellery shows in Hong Kong.

Under the theme of “Fusion of Dazzling Beauty”, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) presents a spectacular collection of fine jewellery and premium jewellery-making materials at the 42nd HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the 12th HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show — events happening simultaneously at two different venues.

Market Context and Timing

According to a study undertaken by Country, Competition, Forecast & Opportunities, the Asia-Pacific jewellery market is undergoing significant growth. It was valued at USD 198.56 Billion in 2024, and is predicted to reach USD 267.56 Billion by 2030. Add to that the major boom gold experienced in 2025 — in China, the metal reached highs of USD $4000 per ounce — and the time couldn’t be riper for an event focused on precious metals and gems, and the sum of its parts.

Show Details and Venues

Designed to connect exhibitors, buyers and business partners from across the globe, Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will commence on March 2 and run until March 6, 2026 at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), while the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, which specialises in finished jewellery, will be held from March 4 to March 8, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show Zones

Focusing on the raw materials involved in jewellery-making, the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will be divided into three zones: the Hall of Fine Diamonds; Treasures of Nature; and Treasures of Ocean, where makers and wholesalers, as well as keen gem collectors, will have the opportunity to peruse and purchase diamonds, rubies, pearls and an array of unique precious gems.

Hong Kong International Jewellery Show Zones

In a similar fashion, the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will consist of three themed zones: the Hall of Extraordinary, Hall of Fame, and Designer Galleria. The Hall of Extraordinary will showcase high-end collections from renowned exhibitors while the Hall of Fame will feature a line-up of international brands. The Designer Galleria will present an exciting showcase of fashion-focused collections from international and regional designers.

Design Competition and Hybrid Model

Building on the spirit of creativity underscoring the shows, the International Jewellery Show will also host the Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition, giving up-and-coming designers the opportunity to present their pieces to a new and engaged audience. The award presentation ceremony will take place at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, where the winning pieces will also be showcased.

For those unable to attend the event in person, the twin jewellery shows will be held under the Exhibition+ hybrid model, where people outside Hong Kong will be able to peruse and purchase the gems and jewellery on offer. Registering via the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s Marketplace App, users, once verified through a self-authentication function, will be able to shop as if they’re there, with the verified buyer E-badge granting direct admission to reduce buyers’ wait time on the site. Online shopping for high jewellery? Welcome to the future.
