It has been confirmed that Iksan City in North Jeolla Province has recently finalized all lease contracts for the jewelry rental factory complex built in its 3rd Industrial Complex.
The jewelry rental factory consists of four buildings, each with a total floor area ranging from 999 to 1,196 square meters per building. It is located within the Iksan Fashion Complex inside the Iksan 3rd Industrial Complex.
According to Iksan City, Buildings 1 and 2 were occupied in October by Starlight Group, a company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of precious metals. Building 3 was leased to the Iksan Precious Metal Manufacturing Cooperative, and Building 4 was leased this month to Hanshin Jewelry, an export-oriented fashion jewelry specialist.
To foster the jewelry industry, Iksan City has been progressively establishing key infrastructure facilities, including a joint research and development center, an industrial cluster center, a plating facility, and a wastewater treatment plant.
