Jaipur News: The grand inauguration of ‘India Stone Mart’ took place in Jaipur, inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. Emphasis was placed on Rajasthan’s abundance of natural stones and investment potential in the global market.
The Pink City of Jaipur today witnessed the grand launch of the country’s largest and most prestigious natural stone industry extravaganza, the ‘India Stone Mart Festival’. This international-level event was inaugurated by Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. During this time, industry leaders, international exporters, renowned architects, and builders gathered under one roof.

In his address, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that Rajasthan is extremely rich in natural resources. He proudly mentioned that Rajasthan’s stones have made a significant contribution to the strength and beauty of historic buildings like the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, and the country’s Supreme Court. The Chief Minister informed that almost every district of the state has its own distinct stone identity, and a total of 85 types of minerals are found here.
The CM emphatically stated that today the entire world is looking at India as a major market and investment hub. He said,

This festival is not only a means to promote trade but also a global network for buyers and sellers from countries like Italy, Turkey, China, and Brazil. Experts at the inauguration ceremony informed that the fair is showcasing state-of-the-art stone processing machinery and eco-friendly technologies. Through this platform, small and medium entrepreneurs are gaining access to the international market. The expansion of the stone industry is expected to create thousands of new jobs in the state.

According to the organizers, there is a strong possibility of business deals worth thousands of crores of rupees during this festival through B2B meetings and networking. This time, special focus has been placed on ‘Sustainability’ so that the industry can progress alongside environmental protection.
