The Kota bullion market witnessed a mixed trend in precious metal prices on Tuesday. Silver prices recorded a sharp rally, while gold prices remained stable with limited fluctuations.
A strong surge was recorded in silver prices in the Kota bullion market today. Silver reached ₹263,000 per kilogram, rising by ₹2000. The previous day, silver prices were ₹261,000 per kilogram. According to traders, the rise in silver prices is being sustained by increased industrial demand and investor buying.
Regarding gold prices, a mixed trend was observed in the market today. 22-carat gold prices remained at ₹160,000 per 10 grams, while pure gold was seen trading at ₹160,900 per 10 grams. On Monday, jewellery gold was ₹160,200 and pure gold was ₹161,000 per 10 grams. Thus, a marginal decline was recorded in gold prices, but the market remains strong overall.
