This article explores the fusion of traditional craftsmanship and modern design at the opening of Hope Star’s Shenzhen headquarters. It highlights how the concept of “gold-jade symbiosis” is being reinterpreted for contemporary audiences, serving as a bridge between cultural heritage and industrial innovation.
At the Hope Star headquarters building in Longhua, Shenzhen, fashion pieces integrating gold and fine jade shine brilliantly. Guests paused to exchange ideas, experiencing the modern interpretation of “gold-jade symbiosis” amidst the interplay of light and shadow. This was not merely an industry event but a profound dialogue between cultural inheritance and industrial innovation.
On January 16, the opening ceremony for Hope Star (Shenzhen) Headquarters Building & Huaxia Totem Art Museum was held in Longhua. On the same day, the “China Gold Valley Gold – Huaxia Totem Gold-Jade Fashion Industry Conference” commenced, gathering hundreds of representatives from industries, design, finance, and other fields. Substantial results in intended investments and industrial implementation were achieved on-site, pressing the “accelerator button” for a trillion-yuan emerging sector.
With a red carpet laid out and gold-jade decorations, the area in front of the Hope Star headquarters building was filled with a vibrant atmosphere blending culture and business opportunities. Amidst the sound of ceremonial cannons, Li Li, Chairman and Artistic Director of Hope Star, delivered a speech announcing the company’s opening, and the Huaxia Totem Art Museum was officially inaugurated.
Subsequently, the conference launched the global “Gold-Jade Totem” series IP and its first product line. The “Shenzhen Initiative on Gold-Jade Totem Integration and Innovation” was simultaneously issued, and the formal establishment of the “Gold-Jade Intelligent Manufacturing Masters Alliance” was announced.
The charm of cultural empowerment was fully displayed in the second-floor exhibition “Jade Nourishes Huaxia, Stars Shine on Pengcheng – Zhenping Jade Carving Masters’ Works Joint Exhibition in Shenzhen.” Over 20 Chinese jade carving masters from Zhenping, Nanyang, Henan, known as the “Hometown of Chinese Jade Carving,” presented more than 200 precious jade carvings, allowing Shenzhen citizens to appreciate the profound heritage of Chinese jade culture up close.
He brought two round-carved pieces this time: a Qinghai Cuicui material cabbage carving and a Qinghua seed material “Sui Sui Ping An” (Peace Year after Year) carving. The cabbage carving stands 16 cm tall and employs realistic techniques combining three-dimensional round carving and hollow carving. While restoring the realistic form of cabbage, it carves a cricket insect, symbolizing “hundreds of fortunes smoothly.” Li Ke explained that this piece uses rare, fully colored Qinghai Cuicui material. The preliminary conception alone took nearly five years, followed by gradually removing impurities and optimizing the color based on the material’s characteristics before finally determining the creative form.
The original “Dragon-Horse Spirit (Dragon-Horse Brings Luck)” series of jewelry works brought by Du Ban, President of the Shenzhen Jewelry Designers Association and an independent jewelry designer, became another highlight of the fusion of culture and fashion on-site.
The dragon-horse symbolizes the spirit of striving and hard work in Chinese culture. This design not only echoes the theme of the times but also hopes to convey positive spiritual power to the public, taking advantage of the Year of the Horse. The brooch/pendant continues the dragon-horse elements, using jewelry craftsmanship to inlay diamonds, balancing artistic beauty and wearability.
That afternoon, the “China Gold Valley Gold – Huaxia Totem Gold-Jade Fashion Industry Conference,” with the core theme of “Forging the Imprint of the Era, Making Gold and Jade Wearable Huaxia Civilization and Fashionable Wealth,” became the central platform for industrial idea碰撞 and practical cooperation.
Li Li pointed out that the core mission of the industry is to promote the fashionization, lifestyle integration, and assetization of “gold” and “jade,” which carry profound civilization. He proposed the business philosophy of “luxury quality, massive market, and affordable prices,” along with the “Four Confidences” system encompassing culture, design, craftsmanship, and brand, charting a clear path for the development of the jewelry industry.
Wu Shijun, Chairman of Guixi Dasanyuan Group, profoundly explained the defining power of the “material revolution” for the industry’s future. The titanium alloy (TC4-F136) material he introduced opens up a vast blue ocean market for light luxury jewelry.
Song Zhe, Director of the Zhenping County Jade Management Committee, shared the transformation path of the thousand-year jade capital, emphasizing that the jade industry must complete the dual leap from “craft product” to “fashion product” and “cultural asset.” The three parties present jointly agreed that the fusion of gold’s value language, titanium alloy’s technological language, and jade’s philosophical language will give birth to highly competitive fashion products with Chinese characteristics.
At the conference, core cooperation projects were signed and landed in Jiangxi—China Gold Valley Gold Group, Hope Star Company, and Nancheng County, Jiangxi Province reached an industrial implementation agreement, jointly introducing Jiangxi Xinhua Titanium Alloy New Material Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Jinrui Technology Co., Ltd. Among them, Jiangxi Xinhua Titanium Alloy New Material Co., Ltd. plans to build a comprehensive high-end manufacturing base with an estimated annual output value of 5 billion yuan, becoming an important supply chain pillar for “gold-jade-titanium” integrated products. Jiangxi Jinrui Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on the R&D and production of laser 3D metal printing equipment, with an annual output value of 1 billion yuan, providing cutting-edge digital and flexible customization solutions for the industry.
With the release of the framework for the “2026 Gold-Jade Fashion Consumption Trends and Wealth Investment White Paper” and the achievement of a series of substantive cooperation intentions, the first industry conference successfully outlined a complete development blueprint for the “Gold-Jade Fashion Wealth Industry,” from concept to cluster, from design to manufacturing, from consumption to investment. A new industrial ecosystem converging cultural charm, technological power, and financial wisdom is rapidly taking shape, which will not only bring consumers gold-jade beauties with a more contemporary feel but also inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the regional economy.
The conference organizing committee stated that an industry alliance will be established subsequently to continuously promote standard setting, talent cultivation, channel co-construction, and financial innovation, transforming the “intention map” of this conference into a “realistic picture” one by one, and working with partners from all sectors to truly create and win a beautiful future of “gold-jade symbiosis.”
The conference focused on the “material revolution” and “craft innovation,” with metal 3D printing becoming a focal point. Jiangxi Jinrui Technology Co., Ltd., jointly established by Shenzhen Zhongzhixinying Precision Technology Co., Ltd. and Gold Valley Gold, is dedicated to combining titanium alloy materials with 3D printing technology for application in the jewelry industry, promoting the digital upgrade of jewelry.
He particularly emphasized the titanium alloy material used—characterized by high strength and corrosion resistance. “In the future, combined with personalized customization demands, this technology will drive the jewelry industry towards flexible, digital production, ushering in a new era of ‘one person, one style’ customization.”
Regarding 3D printing technology, Du Ban is full of anticipation:
