This article reports on a significant surge in gold and silver prices impacting Rajasthan’s jewelry markets.

A major jolt was felt in Rajasthan’s jewelry markets today. A significant increase was observed in the prices of both gold and silver.
On February 8, 2026, a substantial rally was seen in gold prices in Rajasthan. Due to strength in international gold prices and domestic demand, an increase of Rs 3,900 to Rs 4,100 per 10 grams was recorded in local bullion markets. This is the second or third consecutive day of gains, which has increased both enthusiasm and caution among investors and jewelry buyers.
Today in Kota, the price of 22-carat gold (hallmarked) reached Rs 1,44,590 for 10 grams. Yesterday, on February 7, this price was Rs 1,40,690. Thus, in just 24 hours, there has been a massive increase of Rs 3,900 per 10 grams in 22-carat gold. This increase is a relief for those who have already purchased gold, but it is proving to be an expensive deal for new buyers.
