Housho Co., Ltd., a company specializing in high-quality diamonds, genuine pearls, and antique jewelry, will celebrate its 50th anniversary on February 19, 2026. To express our gratitude to our valued customers, we are launching a 50th Anniversary Sale.
Housho Co., Ltd. (Housho), which deals in the purchase of gemstones, diamonds, and pearls as well as the sale of antique and new jewelry (Head Office: Housho Building, 5-12-6 Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shinji Nakatsugawa), will mark 50 years since its founding on February 19, 1976. To express our deep gratitude for the support of many customers over these 50 years, we will hold the “50th Anniversary Sale” on our official online shop “Housho Online” from Friday, February 6, 2026, to Friday, February 20, 2026.

- February 19, 1976: Housho Co., Ltd. is established.
- 1981: Opens a diamond specialty store in Ginza. Five years after its founding in 1981, the company opened a “Diamond Specialty Store” in Ginza, Tokyo, home to Japan’s largest concentration of jewelry stores.
- A “Sparkling” Global Network: Since the 1980s, Housho began direct imports of rough diamonds from major global diamond centers like India, Israel, and Belgium. Furthermore, through direct purchases of South Sea pearls and expansion into internationally renowned jewelry hubs like Hong Kong, Singapore, and Las Vegas, the company has built a global network.
- Passing the “Challenge” to the Next Generation: In 2015, the company’s own building was completed, and in 2023, it transitioned to a new corporate structure. Leveraging the precise eye for selection cultivated through years of specialized sales, the company now strengthens its purchasing and sales capabilities. It is positioned to pass on high-quality reused jewelry to the next generation of customers.
