A Ski Resort Offering Extensive Slopes Without Breaking the Bank

As reported by a study conducted by Casino en ligne, which reveals the ski areas with the best value for money, it is the Espace Diamant that decisively takes the top spot on the podium. Located in the French Alps, about 2 hours from Lyon, and more specifically in Savoie and Haute-Savoie in the heart of the Val d’Arly, this area has nothing to envy from giants like Courchevel or Val Thorens. With its 192 km of slopes in total and its 80 ski lifts, it is possible to enjoy a large, fluid, and varied domain without paying the price of “prestige” resorts.
Its varied slopes (68% are classified as easy, one of the best rates in France. There are 30 green slopes, 67 blue slopes, 50 red slopes, and 10 black slopes), its well-equipped learning areas, its perfectly adequate size, and the minimal wait times at the lifts allow families to truly enjoy their stay, more serenely and with less logistical stress.

Unbeatable Prices for a Resort of This Scale
The Espace Diamant offers not only a village spirit but also an authentic and family-friendly atmosphere, far from ultra-concrete or overly chic resorts. One can enjoy magnificent panoramas as well as numerous other non-alpine skiing activities like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing (120 km of trails), sledding… and indulge in some walks.

And as the study rightly points out, it’s not just these details that make the resort the ideal place for family fun: it’s also its prices. Accommodations there are much more affordable than in major international resorts, and the ski passes are perfectly reasonable for all that vacationers can access. Expect to pay €276.50 for a weekly adult pass (about €39–40 per day when skiing for 7 days) and €49 for a daily adult pass.
