This report details the Chairman of Kyrgyzstan’s State Tax Service attending the Vicenzaoro jewelry exhibition in Italy, highlighting efforts to engage with international industry trends and forge professional connections.

During his working visit to Italy, Almambet Shykmamatov, Chairman of the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan, attended the ‘Vicenzaoro’ jewelry exhibition held in Vicenza.
At the event, the head of the State Tax Service familiarized himself with current trends in the jewelry sector, new materials and technologies, and held working meetings with representatives of leading Italian jewelry companies.
In particular, he met with Eleonora Rizzuto, Director of Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility for the Bvlgari group and LVMH brands, as reported by the State Tax Service press service.

The focus also included Kyrgyzstan’s opportunities in the processing of precious metals and stones, as well as the prospects for attracting foreign investment and establishing partnerships with major international brands.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to prepare Kyrgyz jewelers based on Bvlgari.
Additionally, a meeting was held with the president of the Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Jewelry Equipment, Massimo Polero, where issues of mutual cooperation in this area were discussed.

Separate bilateral meetings were also held with representatives of Trevi Group S.r.l. and Damiani Group.
During these discussions, the parties considered the application of modern technologies and equipment in the jewelry industry, including solutions for analyzing precious metals in laboratory conditions, as well as technologies used in the production and processing of jewelry.
The possibility of implementing advanced Italian technologies in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and their practical application in local jewelry enterprises and specialized laboratories was also discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached for a visit by Italian jewelry manufacturers to Kyrgyzstan to study the local market and conduct further negotiations on issues of continued cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.
