Editor’s Note
The upcoming Vicenzaoro January 2026 trade fair has achieved a complete sell-out, underscoring its global prominence. This record edition will feature over 1,300 exhibitors, with a significant 40% hailing from international markets. The event continues to attract key buyers from major global hubs, solidifying its role as a premier international platform for the jewelry industry.
Vicenzaoro January 2026 has registered a new “sold out” with over 1,300 exhibitors, 60% Italian and 40% international, coming from 30 countries, among which Turkey, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, Germany, France, and Belgium stand out. Among the markets with the highest buyer presence are the United States, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates.
Running parallel to Vicenzaoro, T.Gold, the B2B fair dedicated to machinery and technologies for the jewelry supply chain, also held a new edition with a 40% foreign presence, led by Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, India, and the United States.
Starting in September, with the full operation of the new pavilion, IEG will incorporate a second annual edition of T.Gold, strengthening content, training, and strategic alliances.
VO Vintage also opened its doors, the space dedicated to collectors and enthusiasts of vintage jewelry and watches. With 55 exhibitors, 25% more than the September edition, it will remain open until Monday, January 19. Entry is free with prior online registration and brings together leading Italian and international dealers, along with a program of talks, meetings, and training sessions focused on the historical, technical, and cultural value of vintage pieces.
Vicenzaoro has become the perfect stage to discover and analyze the most relevant current trends. Among them, an innovative use of titanium stands out, as do collections created in alternatives different from silver or gold, such as the first brass collection by Salvatore Plata, to cater to a specific audience. The brand has also bet, in some of its collections, on the combination of rhodium plating with gold plating, and the mix of materials in general remains very present, like the new Nanis collection that combines leather with gold.
Maximalism, bold and statement pieces, and other trends that are here to stay, like stacking and layering, have been seen at Vicenzaoro. Also, the return of pearls, even combined with diamond pavé, in different colors, baroque or in maxi format, but however they appear, pearls continue to be protagonists. Diamonds are also combined with colored gemstones, and indeed, the explosion of color in countless styles is also here to stay.
Stud earrings are experiencing a comeback that unites styles and generations and, since the beginning of the year, has not gone unnoticed. It will be one of the major trends of the year through a sophisticated and elegant style that responds to the daily use of special jewelry.
The obsession with charms has not left us, joining other emotional trends like the return of collections inspired by the zodiac universe, birthstones, or personalization, added to modular and playful jewelry, like last year.
In short, jewelry is once again considered a form of self-expression.
