From the beginning of the week, on February 2, businesses listed the price of SJC gold bars at approximately 163.0 million VND/tael for purchase and 166.0 million VND/tael for sale.
On February 3, the bullish trend in the market continued. The purchase price increased to 173.5 million VND/tael, while the selling price reached 176.5 million VND/tael.
The peak of the rally was seen this week on February 4. According to Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), the purchase price reached 177.2 million VND/tael and the selling price reached 180.2 million VND/tael.
However, a decline was observed in the market on February 5. The price of SJC gold bars fell to 174.2 million VND/tael for purchase and 177.2 million VND/tael for sale.
By the afternoon of February 6, the SJC gold price at several major stores continued to fluctuate within a narrow range, generally around 173.5 – 176.5 million VND/tael.
A slight recovery was seen on February 7. At SJC Company, the purchase price for gold bars was recorded at 176.3 million VND/tael and the selling price at 179.3 million VND/tael.
According to today’s gold rates (February 8, 2026), the market for SJC gold bars is maintaining high prices, allowing buyers to record significant profits since the beginning of last week, ranging from 6.8 to 7.3 million VND per tael depending on the trading company.
At Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), the purchase price was recorded at 176.3 million VND per tael in the afternoon of February 8. Compared to the purchase price of only 169.0 million VND per tael at the beginning of the week on February 2, SJC’s gold buyers are currently making a profit of approximately 7.3 million VND per tael.
For the DOJI Group, the purchase price for SJC gold bars is stable at 176.3 million VND/tael today, February 8. This price is significantly higher compared to the beginning of the week on February 2, when DOJI listed a purchase price of 169.0 million VND/tael, resulting in a profit of approximately 7.3 million VND/tael.
In the Mi Hong system, the purchase price on February 8 is currently 177.0 million VND/tael. Compared to the purchase price of 170.2 million VND/tael at the beginning of the week on February 2, Mi Hong’s gold buyers are now recording a profit of approximately 6.8 million VND/tael, which is slightly lower than some other brands.
In the afternoon of February 8, the purchase price for SJC gold bars at PNJ was recorded at 176.3 million VND per tael. This price has increased by approximately 7.3 million VND per tael compared to 169.0 million VND per tael at the beginning of the week on February 2.
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the purchase price for SJC gold bars was recorded at 176.3 million VND per tael on February 8. Compared to the 169.0 million VND per tael recorded at the beginning of the week on February 2, buyers at this location are currently making a profit of approximately 7.3 million VND per tael.
Finally, at Phu Quy, the gold purchase price reached 176.3 million VND per tael in the afternoon of February 8. This price is significantly higher compared to the purchase price of SJC gold bars at 169.0 million VND per tael at the beginning of the week on February 2, giving buyers a profit of approximately 7.3 million VND per tael and making it one of the highest prices in the market.
