Marvel Unveils Exclusive Infinity Gems Collection Valued at $25 Million
A diamond, an emerald, a sapphire, a ruby, an amethyst, and a spessartite garnet make up the Infinity Gems collection, totaling 150 carats.

Now I understand why Thanos and The Avengers fought so fiercely over the so-called Infinity Gems in the last two films of the acclaimed Marvel Universe saga. Together, these six precious stones, totaling about 150 carats, are valued at around $25 million. Can you believe it?
We are talking, perhaps, about the most exclusive merchandise ever released related to these superheroes, which was recently unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con.

In the plot of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), there is no doubt about the paramount importance of the so-called Infinity Gems. But in real life, what stands out is undoubtedly their cost: around $25 million for a collection that includes six precious stones loaded with symbolism.
To assemble the treasures that form The Infinity Collection of Gemstones, collaboration was required with East Continental Gem, renowned suppliers of some of the most precious stones in nature.

The Infinity Gems collection consists of a rare, bright-colored Colombian emerald representing the Time Stone; while in the place corresponding to the Space Stone, we find a sapphire from the island of Madagascar, weighing over 30 carats.
The Reality Stone is a natural oval-shaped ruby from Mozambique, Africa, weighing over 15 carats. And the Power Stone is a natural oval-shaped amethyst, weighing over 35 carats.
The Soul Stone is a cushion-shaped spessartite garnet exceeding 35 carats, and finally the Mind Stone is a high-clarity, intense-color, rectangular brilliant-cut yellow diamond, close to 35 carats.
Each of the Infinity Gems will be displayed in a custom, exclusive Infinity Gauntlet specially designed by Gentle Giant Ltd., an industry leader in high-end collectible toys and consumer products sold worldwide.
So now you know: if you want to get your hands on this treasure, you might not need to assemble The Avengers—just shell out $25 million, which is equally a superpower.
