The firm has chosen the heart of Madrid for the launch of its latest High Jewelry collection, Beautés du Monde.
Cartier has just celebrated the launch of its new line, Beautés du Monde, in the center of Madrid. Specifically, the presentation took place at the recently inaugurated Galería Canalejas, where the firm has had a boutique since 2021.
The line, spectacular in designs and colors, attests to the Maison’s wonder at the diversity of beauty. In fact, it demonstrates that Cartier knows how to admire beauty to enhance it through its vision, which translates into design, the tension of lines, geometry, or abstraction.

The Maison is linked to Spain by a long history of friendship and loyalty that began in 1904. It was then that King Alfonso XIII granted the brand a royal warrant as an official supplier. Cartier’s archives contain a 1920 photograph of a tiara made for Queen Victoria Eugenia, which today is worn by Queen Letizia. Additionally, a mystery clock acquired in 1927 by a member of the Spanish court is part of the Cartier Collection.
Since then, Cartier has shone throughout Spain. In 1977, a “Les Must de Cartier” point of sale opened on Calle Serrano in Madrid, and it was on this same street that another boutique opened in 1990, before moving to a larger space in the heart of this luxury shopping district in 2003.

Regarding its relationship with art, in 2012 the exhibition “The Art of Cartier” was presented at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum with more than 400 pieces from the Cartier Collection; and in 2021, the Maison inaugurated its Design Pavilion at the Casa de Vacas center in Madrid’s El Retiro Park. A pop-up dedicated to design that was open to the public for three weeks. At the same time, a Cartier boutique opened in Galería Canalejas, the new space dedicated to luxury and gastronomy in Madrid.
