This article provides an overview of the Smiles Argentina frequent flyer program, detailing how members can earn and redeem miles across a wide network of partner airlines.
Smiles Argentina is a frequent flyer program of the GOL airline that allows you to accumulate miles and later redeem them for air tickets on different airlines, such as Aerolíneas Argentinas, GOL, American Airlines, Iberia, Air Europa, Air France, KLM, Turkish Airlines, and more.
You can obtain Smiles miles in various ways:
- By signing up for the program, you immediately receive 600 miles as a gift. You can do this through this link; registration is free.
- You can convert points from your credit cards or banks into Smiles miles. Currently, Smiles Argentina has agreements with Santander bank’s Superclub, Banco Patagonia, Banco Comafi, American Express, Ualá, and Banco Municipal.
- By flying with GOL airline or one of its partner airlines, you can accumulate miles. We provide the complete list of associated airlines.
- Smiles also often launches promotions that grant bonuses: when transferring miles from one account to another, when gifting miles to another Smiles member, when extending the validity of miles that have not yet expired, and when reactivating miles that have expired.
- By contracting services with associated companies, such as travel assistance providers.
- By booking hotels through their website.

There, we can search for flights similarly to how we do on an online travel agency or a metasearch engine. There are different types of searches:
- Round trip: A standard search that allows flying round trip from one place to another, for example, from Buenos Aires – Madrid – Buenos Aires.
- One-way: A type of search where we are interested in issuing only one leg, for example, a flight from Paris to Buenos Aires.
- Multiple destinations: Here we can search for two legs, for example, from Buenos Aires to Cancún one day and from Cancún to Miami a few days later.
You can also indicate the desired dates for your flights, the number of passengers, and whether you want to get results for all classes or filter by a particular class; for example, showing only business class flights.
