About Heritage Auctions

Heritage Auctions was founded in 1976 by coin collectors Steve Ivy and Jim Halperin and has handled rare coins for over 45 years. As a result, it has established itself as the world’s largest auction house in the rare coin sector. Coins consigned from collectors worldwide, including the US, are often highly rare, and their value has further increased recently against the backdrop of rising gold prices. Collector items, led by coins, are attracting increasing attention year by year. In the first half of 2025, many items sold at Heritage Auctions achieved high hammer prices, significantly contributing to the company’s record-high total sales for a first half.

During the preview and appraisal event period, the company’s experts will conduct free appraisals for coins and jewelry, providing guidance on valuation in the global market and auction procedures. Those wishing to consign items can hand them over on-site. Consultations regarding auction consignment, bidding, and collection building are also available.
