Senior IPS officer Harcharan Singh Bhullar of Punjab has landed in major trouble. He has been arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in a corruption case. The case reportedly began with a demand for ₹8 lakhs. However, a massive amount of undeclared assets, including ₹5 crore in cash, luxury cars, gold jewelry, and expensive watches, were later discovered from his possession.
Bhullar is a senior officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS). The accused IPS officer is currently posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Ropar Range of Punjab.
