This article reports on Taylor Swift’s engagement announcement, highlighting the notable pairing of her ring with a luxury Cartier watch. The market value of such high-profile celebrity items often garners significant public and media interest.
Taylor Swift announced her engagement to Travis Kelce on Instagram with photos featuring her gold ring. Swift paired the engagement ring with a Cartier Santos Demoiselle watch worth $27,300.
The watch retailed for $27,300, and it can show up on the resale market for around $18,000, Eugene Tutunikov, CEO of SwissWatchExpo, told Business Insider.
As of 2022, the Cartier Santos Demoiselle was no longer listed on the Cartier website, SwissWatchExpo said.
Swift has been spotted in the watch on a few occasions, including a virtual appearance at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, the AFC championship game in which her now-fiancé played on January 26, and her recent appearance on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
For Swifties who may not be able to splurge on the $20,000 blinged-out version of the watch, a plain stainless steel version can be found on resale for less than $10,000, Tutunikov said.
