The Vicenzaoro fair once again impressively confirmed its important role as an international platform for jewelry, watches, and precious metals in September 2025. According to the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), the fair recorded a 3% increase in visitors compared to the previous year’s edition, attracting buyers and exhibitors from all over the world to Vicenza. For jewelers and specialist retailers from the German-speaking region, the fair thus offers not only access to new collections and innovations but also to crucial international business contacts.

Stronger International Positioning

The number of international visitors increased significantly, particularly from the USA (+2%) and the United Arab Emirates (+21%). In total, trade visitors came from 130 countries, including Spain, France, and Germany as the most important markets. New participants from regions such as Bolivia, Mozambique, and Macao also underscore the event’s growing reach.

Complete Value Chain in Focus

With over 1,200 exhibitors from 30 countries – 60% of them from Italy – the fair was once again fully booked. As part of the Italian Trade Agency’s incoming program, 605 buyers from 63 countries were specifically invited to Vicenza to optimize the matching of supply and demand. For specialist retailers, the fair thus offered direct access to suppliers from the entire jewelry and watch value chain.

Knowledge and Further Education Platform

Vicenzaoro also positioned itself this time as a central training and knowledge platform for the industry. The preceding Vicenza Symposium at the Basilica Palladiana brought together scientists and industry experts from 15 countries to discuss new technologies in precious metal processing. At the fair itself, numerous seminars, trend analyses, and discussions with associations took place, practical and directly at the stands.

In addition to business contacts, networking played a central role. With the ViOff program organized by the city, international guests could experience the historic old town, which further enhanced the event.

VO Vintage as a Second Pillar

Parallel to the main fair, VO Vintage established itself with a strong presence: For four days, historical jewelry and watch pieces thrilled collectors and enthusiasts. Expert lectures and collector talks rounded off the program and confirmed IEG’s strategy to strengthen the vintage segment alongside new products.
