Editor’s Note
The EPHJ trade fair, a global leader in high-precision industries, is entering a new era under the ownership of Easyfairs. This transition is guided by a commitment to uphold the event’s unique legacy and spirit.

The EPHJ, the world’s leading trade fair for high precision, is turning a new page with Easyfairs as its new owner – driven by the will to preserve the spirit of the fair.
The founders of EPHJ, André Colard and Olivier Saenger, have decided to hand over their operational responsibility. Together with their partners, they arranged the succession for one of Europe’s most significant industrial trade fairs. The goal was to find a custodian who would ensure continuity – without diluting the character of the fair. The choice fell on Easyfairs, an internationally experienced trade fair organizer, which is now the owner of EPHJ.
The EPHJ is the largest trade fair in Switzerland and a world leader in the field of high precision. Yesterday, it opened its doors again in Geneva – with around 800 exhibitors and over 23,000 professional visitors. Year after year, it brings together players from the watchmaking industry, microtechnology, medical technology, and jewelry manufacturing.
The fair has always grown in close cooperation with its exhibitors. This partnership-based understanding is also intended to remain defining in the future.
Easyfairs brings extensive experience with industrial trade fairs – and takes over EPHJ with the stated intention of preserving its identity. This means concretely: The fair remains in Geneva, retains its focus on high precision, and continues to see itself as a catalyst for innovation in its traditional industries. The spirit of the event – characterized by openness, hospitality, and professionalism – is also to be preserved.
The existing organizational team under the leadership of Alexandre Catton remains fully in office. This also preserves the connection to players from industry, research, and development – both nationally and internationally. The change in ownership opens up new development opportunities without calling the proven foundations into question.

The EPHJ will continue to be a fair “by professionals for professionals,” Brand added.
With this seamless transition, EPHJ underscores its long-term commitment: a trade fair with a clear stance, true to its roots and open to the future.
