Editor’s Note
The Vicenzaoro 2026 trade fair has reaffirmed its status as a pivotal global event for the jewelry and watch sectors, drawing attendees from more than 130 nations. As this report highlights, the show serves as a key barometer for market trends, emerging opportunities, and the growing emphasis on technology, vintage styles, and artisanal skill—even amid economic fluctuations.

Despite volatile precious metal prices and global uncertainties, Vicenzaoro remains a fixed point in the international jewelry industry. The January 2026 edition impressively demonstrates which markets are attracting attention, where new opportunities are emerging, and why technology, vintage, and craftsmanship are becoming more important.
With a foreign share of 60 percent, Vicenzaoro January 2026 confirms its role as a global industry hub. Visitors from around 130 countries used the fair as a platform for purchasing, exchange, and strategic orientation. The United States led the international visitors, followed by the United Kingdom, India, and Germany. In a market environment characterized by price fluctuations and geopolitical tensions, this participation underscores the importance of physical meeting points for the industry.
The United States proved once again to be the most important foreign market, accounting for around seven percent of international visitors. At the same time, strong dynamics were observed in other key regions. India and China recorded significant growth, as did established European markets like France, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Particularly noteworthy was the growth from previously smaller countries of origin such as Serbia, Lithuania, and Kazakhstan, which together achieved an increase of around 60 percent.

Vicenzaoro consciously positions itself as a fair for the complete supply chain. From raw materials through technology and manufacturing to design and trade, buyers and suppliers found a comprehensive market overview.
Matteo Farsura of the Italian Exhibition Group emphasized this point.

Special attention was once again given to the T.Gold technology area, which confirmed its position as the leading platform for jewelry technology. Efficient manufacturing processes and innovative machinery are becoming a decisive competitive factor for many companies.
In parallel, VO Vintage developed into a crowd-puller. The growing secondary market for watches and jewelry reflects the increasing interest in value retention, sustainability, and long-lasting products. With the newly awarded VO Awards, craftsmanship quality, design competence, and the use of new materials also came into focus.
In 2026, Vicenzaoro also understood itself not just as a fair, but as a knowledge platform. Events like the Golden Talk, which was attended by more than 650 students, highlighted the importance of training and fostering the next generation for the industry. Accompanying formats in the city of Vicenza further strengthened the connection between the fair, the economy, and the public.

The next Vicenzaoro edition will take place from September 4 to 8, 2026 in a modernized fairground, with VO Vintage running parallel from September 4 to 7. Other important stops on the fair calendar are Oroarezzo in May, the Singapore International Jewellery Expo in July, and the Jewellery Gem and Technology Dubai in October.
