Jewelry brand Goldpang (CEO Lee Yong-soo) announced on the 11th that it has supplied ‘gold medal blanks’ (pure gold medal discs) to the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation (KOMSCO).
The gold medal blanks for KOMSCO require quality standards including: △ purity of at least 99.9% fine gold △ precise weight, thickness, and stamping diameter △ uniform color and luster △ burr-free edge finishing. They must also undergo multi-stage inspection processes such as chemical composition analysis, hardness measurement, and visual inspection.

“We have supplied blanks that meet these standards,” a Goldpang representative said. “This validates our precision processing technology, quality management system, and production process completeness required for manufacturing nationally certified medals.”

“This supply is the result of meeting KOMSCO’s strict purity, specification, appearance, and quality inspection standards,” the company added. “It is significant that Goldpang’s technical capabilities and production system have passed national standards.”
