This article introduces the 2026 Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair and its innovative “dual-channel” model, which blends physical craftsmanship with digital engagement. It highlights how the event is evolving beyond a traditional trade show into a dynamic space connecting creation, commerce, and community.

When jewellery moves beyond shop windows into platforms, communities, life, and emotional experiences, the 2026 Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair is ushering in a new era with its “dual-channel” approach. Bringing together brands, designers, jewellers, and the consumer market, this is more than a trade fair; it’s a space where creation, craftsmanship, commerce, and emotion engage in dialogue.
Offline, it’s the physical realm of materials and light—where you witness metal being shaped, gemstones being interpreted, and craftsmanship evolving into style. Online, it’s an extension of rhythm and connection—eliminating distance as a barrier, allowing viewing, selection, and collection to happen simultaneously.
This is an exhibition designed for the “contemporary jewellery ecosystem”: how brands tell stories, how designers respond to the times, and how the market redefines value. The Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair gathers the world’s most dazzling jewellery energy. It’s not just about seeing jewellery; it’s about discovering how jewellery is being re-embraced in this era.
Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the 42nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the 12th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will take place in March 2026. From finished jewellery to loose stones and raw materials, from design creativity to craft technology, it will cover the entire landscape of the jewellery world. Coming soon.
Taiwan’s Glamour Junyi Jewellery returns to the Hong Kong fair, presenting its deep interpretation of “art jewellery” through high-level bespoke craftsmanship and narrative gemstone language. This showcase focuses on two distinctive masterpieces: the Hummingbird Art Brooch (convertible design) and the Sri Lankan Star Sapphire Diamond Ring, constructing a cross-scale jewellery imagination from natural fantasy to cosmic stars.
The Hummingbird Art Brooch, a representative piece of the “Fantasy Garden” series, recreates the most轻盈 and focused moment in a garden with its three-dimensional and richly layered structure. The hummingbird hovers within a gemstone garden, colorful yet not cluttered. Tanzanite transforms into plump, transparent fruit, refracting soft light; emeralds, hailed as the “garden gem,” sway gently below, infusing the piece with the breath of spring awakening. The convertible design allows the piece to switch freely between a brooch and a pendant, making the jewellery not just a display item but something that integrates into daily wear, embodying the interactive relationship between collector and piece.
The other focal piece turns its perspective to the vast cosmos. The round, crystal-clear, unheated Sri Lankan star sapphire boasts a deep and pure color, with sharp and clear six-rayed asterism, resembling the most stable star in the night sky. The ring setting, inspired by a spaceship, precisely arranges diamonds through a channel-setting technique, layering them to create depth and rhythm like a starry sky. As light flows, the diamonds and the star sapphire echo each other; every gaze feels like being drawn into the microcosm constructed by the gemstone.

• Hall of Extraordinary: Featuring Dehres, Autore, Heinz Mayer, Lili Jewelry. Diamonds, gemstones, jadeite, pearls—high-couture-level splendor gathers.
• Hall of Fame: Brands from Italy, China, India, the USA, and Turkey compete on the same stage. Luxury speaks more than one language.
• Designer Galleria: A new generation of designers from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Thailand let jewellery speak the style of “now.”
Gold is not just tradition. Enhanced by technology and craftsmanship, it becomes harder, softer, freer, and a key player in contemporary jewellery design. The “Gold Jewellery” zone will once again be a focal point.
The theme for the 2026 Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition is “The Charm of the Unpolished • The Beauty of Nature,” returning design to its essence and letting light, shadow, and materials speak. Winning works will be exhibited on-site.
Hall of Fine Diamonds: Massive carat diamonds make a stunning appearance. Natural Treasures: Rubies, sapphires, and jadeite gather. Oceanic Treasures: Natural seawater pearls shine throughout the venue.

AI, big data, and social media are rewriting the ways jewellery is designed, sold, and authenticated. During the fair, seminars, showcases, forums, and networking events will be held to keep the industry ahead of the times.
The “Exhibition+” model is upgraded: through the “Click2Match” platform, transcend geographical boundaries and continuously connect with business opportunities. Buyers can use the “HKTDC Marketplace” App for pre-verification and fast entry, avoiding long waits.
In March, Hong Kong becomes the collective发光 point for global jewellery. It’s not just an exhibition; it’s a summit dialogue on global aesthetics and ultimate craftsmanship.
