Vibhor has acquired fine jewelry brand Alor for an undisclosed amount.
The move marks Vibhor’s expansion into the global luxury market, combining its craftsmanship and speedy delivery model with Alor’s “avant-garde elegance.”
Sandy and Jack Zemer founded Alor in San Diego, California, in 1979, naming the company after their sons, Tal and Ori. The brand is best known for its cable designs and for pairing stainless steel with 14-karat gold.

Alor’s San Diego office is set to close at the end of the month, and all of its operations will move to Vibhor’s corporate office, manufacturing, and distribution center in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Vibhor will also be hiring additional employees for its New Jersey operations.

In a related strategic move, Vibhor announced the appointment of Jacqueline Grande Raffi as its senior vice president of commercial strategy. The industry veteran has over 16 years of leadership experience at Hearts On Fire and Mémoire.
