LVMH has named Laura Burdese as the next Managing Director of Bulgari, effective July 2026. She will succeed Jean-Christophe Babin, who will remain Chairman of the board.
Luxury conglomerate LVMH announced on Thursday that it has appointed Laura Burdese as the Managing Director of its Italian jewelry brand, Bulgari, effective July 1, 2026.
Burdese, 54, who has been serving as Deputy Managing Director since July 2024, will succeed Jean-Christophe Babin. According to a statement, Babin will remain as Chairman of Bulgari’s Board of Directors and “will also continue to serve as CEO of Bulgari Hotels and President of the Bulgari Foundation.” Burdese will report directly to Stéphane Bianchi, who is the Deputy Managing Director of LVMH and CEO of the Watches & Jewelry division.

Burdese joined LVMH in 2016 as CEO of the Italian fragrance brand Acqua di Parma. She subsequently joined Bulgari in 2022 as Vice President of Marketing and Communications before being appointed Deputy Managing Director. Prior to joining LVMH, she built her career at Beiersdorf, L’Oréal, and Swatch.
LVMH’s Watches & Jewelry division, which houses brands including Bulgari, Tiffany, TAG Heuer, and Chaumet, reported revenue of 7.4 billion euros for the first nine months of 2025, a 2% decrease compared to the same period the previous year.
