This article highlights the Harry Winston Midnight Moonphase, a new timepiece that marries technical precision with poetic design. The addition of a delicate moonphase complication to the iconic Midnight series captures the romance of the night sky, offering a fresh take on elegant watchmaking.

Harry Winston is a brand that garners significant attention from women seeking elegance, presenting products that combine diamonds and watches.
The new ‘Midnight Moonphase’ model released this year adds the intricate moonphase function (a visual effect where the moon’s shape changes according to the date), depicting the harmony of the night sky and moon, to the existing Midnight series. Its characteristic feature is the poetic sensibility added to the traditional watch dial by delicately engraving a moon hidden behind tree branches.
The diamonds set in the case, which harmoniously blends rose gold and white gold, are eye-catching. The large 39mm diameter case emphasizes a sense of cool sophistication. This watch was selected as the Fashion Watch of the Year at the Watch World Awards held in New Delhi, India, on the 12th of last month.
‘Première Ladies’ is a watch for the special woman who signifies ultimate elegance. The large 36mm diameter case and the three central arches connecting it to the strap follow the tradition of the Première line, which expresses the exterior of Harry Winston’s New York salon, a symbol of the brand.

In particular, the dial (the number plate) with its subtle rainbow hue is designed to allow one to perceive different colors depending on the viewing angle. Furthermore, the harmony between the bezel (the rim) composed of 62 brilliant-cut diamonds and the crown (the winding stem) resembling a flower bud, combined with the dial, expresses unparalleled beauty.
There are also watches for men. ‘Avenue Squared A2 Men’ is a watch inspired by New York’s Times Square. It captures the overflowing energy of New York, the city that never sleeps, and the characteristic coexistence of classic and modern elements.
Like the skyscrapers of varying heights surrounding Times Square, this watch also features an asymmetrical dual watch expression within the dial. Two circles of different sizes and numerals indicate the time. Depth has been added to the varying heights to effectively express perspective.
‘Ocean Dual Time’ is a watch for those who frequently travel abroad for business or leisure. Riding on the popularity of the Project Z4 unveiled in 2007, this watch was produced with the same design in a rose gold version.

Through the watch that displays two different time zones, it emphasizes not only design but also practical appeal. This watch was also named ‘Best Men’s Watch of the Year’ at the 2008 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in Switzerland.
