Cartier celebrated the launch of its latest high jewelry collection, “Une Équilibre,” with a gala event at the Artipelag Contemporary Art Gallery in the Stockholm archipelago on May 27, 2025.
The new collection features unique pieces characterized by pure lines, strong volumes, a balance of colors, and the interplay between solid and void. Every element is in harmonious accord, with nothing excessive. It pursues a balance between symmetry and asymmetry through a palette of simplicity and opulence, delicacy and boldness. This harmony stems from the exploration and reconciliation of opposing forces.
This sense of equilibrium is linked to the city of Stockholm. A city pulsating with creativity and design, it embodies a perfect balance between urban life and nature, innovation and tradition. Here, everything is underpinned by a sense of minimalism, or “Lagom”—a Swedish term meaning “just the right amount” or “moderation.”
The celebration in Stockholm began with a collection presentation at the historic Nacka Strandmässan building, where the venue’s open spaces and clean industrial design merged with natural beauty. Here, the savoir-faire embedded in the “Panthère d’Entrelacs” necklace by the Maison’s artisans was unveiled. The festivities then moved to the Artipelag Contemporary Art Gallery, where architecture and nature harmonize.
Guests arriving by boat included Maison ambassadors Deepika Padukone and Anna Sawai, as well as Friends of the Maison Zoë Saldaña and Alexander Skarsgård. The high jewelry pieces were presented through living picture performances. The glamorous celebration was further enhanced by a performance from the Canadian rock band The Beaches and a DJ set by Dillion Fischel.
