The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) has announced the appointment of a new leader. This strategic move aims to strengthen the organization’s role in promoting ethical, social, and environmental practices throughout the jewellery and watch supply chain.

“We are confident that [the new leader’s] extensive experience and vision will be instrumental in advancing our mission of responsible business practices for the entire jewellery supply chain,” said a representative from the RJC.

The appointment comes at a critical time as the industry faces increasing scrutiny regarding sustainability, traceability, and ethical sourcing. The new leader is expected to guide the RJC’s initiatives in certification, standards development, and member engagement to foster greater transparency and accountability.
