Bonhams has appointed Céline Assimon, former CEO of De Beers Jewellers, as its new Chief Commercial Officer. This strategic hire signals the auction house’s continued focus on strengthening its position in the high-end luxury market.

Internationally renowned luxury auction house Bonhams has appointed Céline Assimon as its Chief Commercial Officer.

Céline Assimon’s previous role was as the Chief Executive Officer of De Beers Jewellers, a position she left at the end of February this year.
She joined the De Beers Group in 2020 as CEO of De Beers Jewellers, which is positioned in the high-end luxury jewelry segment. Starting in 2021, she also concurrently served as the CEO of the premium diamond jewelry brand De Beers Forevermark until March 2024.

Prior to joining De Beers, Céline Assimon held the position of CEO at Swiss jeweler De Grisogono. She has also held roles in sales, market, and marketing departments at brands such as Piaget and Louis Vuitton.
