Diamonds, in all their purity and eternal beauty, are the protagonists of Van Cleef & Arpels’ new collection. The High Jewelry line branches into two major chapters, 25 Mystery Set Jewels and White Diamond Variations, and traces the history of creativity and style, so fine and refined, of the French brand founded in 1906.
Legend of Diamonds is a tribute to the label’s growth, the Maison’s most famous designs, and also a celebration of the artisans’ high quality, who contribute to creating these masterpieces within the brand’s luxury ateliers.

The idea for 25 Mystery Set Jewels was born in 2018 after encountering the famous rough diamond, the Lesotho Legend; after about four years of careful design and craftsmanship, the first chapter of the Legend of Diamonds collection by Van Cleef & Arpels is finally here. Today, the Van Cleef & Arpels Creative Studio has chosen to perpetuate its highly recognizable style through the twenty-five creations of the collection: a set of precious pieces that enhance the allure of diamonds, Van Cleef & Arpels’ historical symbol, paired with rubies, emeralds, and sapphires, rare and exceptional stones. Cut, luster, and brilliance are combined to create jewelry with sinuous, light, fluid, and balanced lines. Through the Mystery Set technique, patented by Van Cleef & Arpels in 1933 and become one of the most emblematic used for creating High Jewelry pieces, the expertise of the artisans, extensive research, and months of design, Van Cleef & Arpels creates stunning collections, just like 25 Mystery Set Jewels.

White Diamond Variations is the second chapter of the new Legend of Diamonds line. Reinterpreting the distinctive style and artistic currents that have influenced the Maison’s creations over time, this new series of jewelry was born. The stylistic expression inspiring the diamond jewelry series comes from the iconic Belle Époque garland, the white jewelry of the Art Deco movement, all the way to Decorative and Industrial Arts, Modernism, and Japonism. Enchanting elaborate lines gently wrap the diamonds, elevating them to the peak of their splendor. Legend of Diamonds continues to underscore the authenticity of a legendary brand like Van Cleef & Arpels.
