Planning a Euro summer and need a minute to escape the heat? Pomellato is hosting its first exhibition in Paris at the Palais de Tokyo, titled “Pomellato, Le Joaillier Révolutionnairé,” until the end of July for jewelry lovers to explore.
Alba Cappellieri, professor of jewelry design at Milan Polytechnic University and director of the Vicenza Museum of Jewelry, curated the show that includes Pomellato jewels as well as gold work and photographs from Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, Michel Comte, and Snowdon. The historical photographs chronicle the brand from 1967 to the present day through a series of the brand’s campaign imagery.
Some of the standout pieces include the high-jewelry collection; early gourmette chains, which transformed a traditional goldsmith’s technique; and the Nudo collection that features the most vibrant colored gemstones I could have imagined.
The exhibit is open until July 20 in Paris.
