Curatorial Highlights

Alba Cappellieri, professor of jewelry design at Milan Polytechnic University and director of the Vicenza Museum of Jewelry, curated the show that includes Pomellato jewels as well as gold work and photographs from Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, Michel Comte, and Snowdon. The historical photographs chronicle the brand from 1967 to the present day through a series of the brand’s campaign imagery.

“The photographs are not simply campaigns; they form a cultural archive that documents changing ideas of beauty, identity, and femininity,” wrote Cappellieri. “It is rare to find such consistency between product, communication, and values over such a long period of time.”
