Arianna (Ariadne) is a Cretan princess from Greek mythology. She falls in love with the hero Theseus, gives him a ball of thread, and helps him defeat the Minotaur living in the labyrinth.
This is not a new piece, but it exemplifies Orlandini’s signature “wearable” jewelry. It is a highly elaborate work where individual hoop-shaped parts of various sizes are manually connected and woven together to resemble a supple fabric.
