Hermès has unveiled its ninth high jewelry collection, ‘Into the Horsscape’. Rather than directly depicting the horse—a symbol of the brand—the collection metaphorically explores the horse’s presence and symbolism through objects inspired by equestrian culture, such as bits, lassos, stirrups, and farrier’s nails.
The collection revolves around the movement of lines and the curves of the body. Through forms that flow flexibly along the body and intricate connection structures, the jewelry transcends mere ornamentation to become sculptural pieces that move with the body. Practical objects are reinterpreted beyond their original functions into sensual forms, with mechanical elements and clasps naturally concealed to form an organic structure.
Materials and colors also complete the collection’s narrative. Emeralds, baguette-cut diamonds, jade, Tahitian stones, rose gold, and brown diamonds harmonize to express the horse’s strength, warmth, and movement. The pavé settings of white gold and rose gold function as a texture in themselves, adding presence.
This collection comprises a total of 90 pieces. Mythology and legend, craftsmanship, and a modern vision converge into one world, capturing Hermès’s unique sculptural language and artisanal spirit through various motifs symbolizing the horse.
