According to the Reuters report, a pear-shaped diamond is set in the center of this luxurious ring, which is completely flawless from the inside. It has been named “Mellon Blue,” after its previous owner, Mellon. Mellon had previously worn it as a pendant. This diamond was also auctioned in 2014, at that time its price was 32.6 million dollars. That same year, Mellon passed away at the age of 103.
It holds the record for blue diamonds.
