(Import, Export): Less than $15,000, equivalent to €13,500 or 43,500 Turkish Lira. For export, if the limit is exceeded, it must be declared upon entry into the country, with proof that the jewelry was purchased in Turkey.

Cars

: For people with a residence permit in another country, the vehicle can stay in Turkish territory for 2 years, provided its owner has stayed 185 days outside Turkey. Otherwise, the car may be sent back to the other country.

For Excess Amounts

In general, the maximum allowed amount is €450 (1500 TL) per person and €150 (484 TL) for minors under 15. Beyond this amount, customs charge a tax. Furthermore, to be exempt from this tax, one must have stayed at least 3 days in the country of import.
If it is impossible to bring products back due to these quotas, it is possible to send them to Turkey one month before return or three months after, by mail or cargo. To avoid paying taxes, the shipment must not exceed 30 kg with a maximum value of €75 (240 TL).

For receipt, one must go to the customs service, prove the date of entry into the country, and present an identity document.
For products from the European Union: for a shipment with a value less than €1,500 (5,000 TL), an 18% tax is imposed. For other countries, this tax is 20%. For a shipment exceeding this amount, an additional tax is required.
