On September 22, US jewelry manufacturer VIBHOR announced it has acquired the designer jewelry brand Alor. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Alor was founded in 1979 in San Diego, California, by the husband-and-wife team Sandy and Jack Zemer. The brand name is a combination of the names of their two sons, Tal and Ori. Jack Zemer, a former nuclear engineer, incorporated industrial-inspired cable elements into Alor’s designs, using materials such as stainless steel, 14K gold, and diamonds.

Alor’s product range includes necklaces, rings, bracelets, and bangles for both men and women, as well as Apple Watch bands. Prices range from $85 to $4,995 (approximately RMB 605 to 36,000).
