Jewels We’re Still Thinking About From VicenzaOro January 2025
VicenzaOro Show Overview

It’s only February, and JCK editors have already attended the VicenzaOro show in Vicenza, Italy, among other major jewelry events. The January edition (held from January 17–21) featured 1,300 brands and visitors from 145 countries, creating a buzzy and optimistic atmosphere filled with buyers, educational seminars, and attendees seeking new and exciting jewelry.

“Coming here is very important, especially because it is the first show of the year,” said Matteo Farsura, head of the gold and jewelry division for Italian Exhibition Group, which produces the twice-yearly VicenzaOro. “The buyers are coming here—this is what our exhibitors are telling me—and they need product. They need to buy.”
“It’s a small city but with a big heart able to welcome any person who wants to come,” Farsura fittingly said of Vicenza.
Peruffo Ride Ring

We discovered Peruffo’s stretchy Blocks collection this year and were especially taken with this super-wearable signet-style 18k gold and diamond ring. It’s designed to be versatile for both men and women.

Chiarelli Milano Ulivo Bracelet
Chiarelli Milano rose gold bracelet

Inspired by the olive tree, the twisty Ulivo collection is made entirely in 18k rose gold, with and without diamonds. Chiarelli Milano has achieved a perfect shade of rose gold that looks wonderfully warm on any skin tone.

Oscar Massin Lab-Grown Diamond Double Halo Earrings

These earrings feature rose-cut lab-grown diamonds. Oscar Massin has been using LGDs since the heritage French brand’s revival in 2022, and these pieces represent a perfect blend of vintage style and modern technology.

Picchiotti Classic Emerald, Sapphire, and Diamond Necklace

This design features a ring intended to be worn on a necklace. Both Picchiotti’s baguette diamond and emerald drop and the sapphire pendant detach, allowing you to set the 9.57 ct. Sri Lankan “Royal Blue” oval sapphire with a baguette diamond halo into a separate 18k white gold ring setting.

Nanis Boules Rings

These doublet and triplet rings feature stones layered with rock crystal and, in one case, rock crystal and mother-of-pearl. Nanis explained the inspiration comes from La Dolce Vita and Italian drinks of the 1960s.

Miseno Cortile Bracelet

The Cortile collection pays homage to Italy’s courtyards. This 18k white gold and diamond bracelet, with its interlocking shapes and almost haphazard connections, perfectly captures the country’s centuries-old stonework.

Tavanti Giove Collection

These Giove (Jupiter) pieces from Tavanti are topped by a cluster of diamonds evoking a starlit night, featuring a high-polish finish.

Pianegonda Amatum Bracelet

This super-chunky reversible chain bracelet features solid silver on one side and blue enamel on the other, offering two looks in one piece.

Alessio Boschi Golestan Palace Ring
Picchiotti emerald sapphire necklace

The Golestan Palace ring is an intricate piece. The top—a stunning carved emerald set in flawless turquoise—pops open to reveal a chain with seven miniature Persian enamel rugs that fold up and rest on a throne, showcasing the designer’s narrative approach to jewelry.
