This exclusive one-day event offers attendees the opportunity to hear directly from contemporary artist Kei Takemura, who designed the “Playing Cards” collection, about the inspiration and creative process behind the jewelry designs. Additionally, NS by NOUSAKU staff will propose charm combinations, allowing guests to deeply experience the collection’s appeal.
Furthermore, starting from the event day, July 19 (Sunday), a launch commemorative novelty fair will be held, offering an original pouch to the first 30 customers who purchase NS by NOUSAKU jewelry totaling ¥22,000 or more (tax included).

Launch Commemorative Novelty Fair
Starting Sunday, July 19, at the Tokyo Midtown store, the first 30 customers who purchase NS by NOUSAKU jewelry totaling ¥22,000 or more (tax included) will receive an original pouch as a gift.
Following the first collection “Ribbon” by architect Yuko Nagayama (NS by NOUSAKU brand director) and the second collection “Line and Curve” by art director Asuka Wakita, the third collection features internationally active contemporary artist Kei Takemura as jewelry designer, known for her unique expression of embroidery on photographs and drawings.
The “Playing Cards” collection, inspired by playing cards, allows free combination of charms designed with numbers, suits, and face cards. It includes base parts such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and ear cuffs, along with over 40 types of charms.
NS by NOUSAKU jewelry uses the proprietary material “Tin Gold.” By combining lightweight, flexible tin with gold, the jewelry is comfortable to wear, adapts to body temperature, and offers a smooth wearing experience.

After completing graduate studies at Tokyo University of the Arts, Takemura studied at the Berlin University of the Arts. Currently based in Gunma Prefecture, she creates works themed around memory, time, and human connections through embroidery. She has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad. Her works include pieces that transform broken objects into new value through embroidery, as well as series inspired by playing cards.
She has published collections such as “Takemura Kei in Berlin 2000-2005” (2005), “Prosaic Verse” (2012), and “PLAYING CARDS” (2017). She has participated in the 15th Sydney Biennale (2005) and the Yokohama Triennale (2020), gaining high international acclaim and expanding her activities.
