The 2014 Korea Jewelry Fair opened on the 24th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, for a four-day run.

Exhibition Details

Now in its 12th year, the ‘Korea Jewelry Fair’ is an international jewelry fair jointly hosted by nine domestic jewelry-related institutions, including the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). This exhibition features 350 domestic and international jewelry brands, offering a rich visual feast. From fine jewelry and layered fashion accessories to jewelry-related equipment and materials, visitors can see not only jewelry but also related supplies all in one place, with on-site purchasing available.

Trade Focus

Held annually to promote the development and export of Korea’s jewelry industry, the ‘Korea Jewelry Fair’ is an event focused on revitalizing the domestic market and supporting exports. This year, KITA has invited about 500 overseas buyers from 250 companies across 24 countries, including China, Japan, Hong Kong, the United States, and Italy, to hold export consultation meetings.

Side Events

Various side events have also been prepared, including a ‘Wedding Special Exhibition’ for prospective brides and mothers-in-law, and a ‘Make Your Own Accessory Experience Event’ tailored to the latest fashion trends for those in their 20s to 40s. Additionally, seminars such as one on the ‘Tax System Related to the Precious Metals Industry’ to support small and medium-sized enterprises and a jewelry trend analysis seminar are scheduled to be held.

Visitor Information

The ‘Jewelry Fair’ is divided into Business Days and Public Days. On Business Days, the 24th and 25th, only visitors with invitations or those working in related industries can enter. General visitors can enter on Public Days, the 26th and 27th. The exhibition admission fee is 10,000 won.
