**Editor’s Note:** PNJ takes a significant step toward transparency and quality assurance by commissioning independent international assessments of its products and operations. This move reinforces its commitment to industry standards and consumer trust.
Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) has just announced a resolution approving the policy of entrusting renowned international organizations to conduct independent quality assessments of its products, including diamonds and jewelry, as well as internal processes related to business activities.
Accordingly, PNJ will implement three categories of independent evaluation. The company engages internationally renowned independent testing companies to inspect and certify the quality of PNJ products, including diamonds and jewelry.
At the same time, PNJ will assign an independent auditing firm to verify the entire process, from import and production to the sale of diamonds, including diamond-studded jewelry.
The company will also engage an independent and professional consulting firm to evaluate its risk management processes.

Additionally, PNJ has just announced a resolution approving the signing of guarantee agreements for two of its subsidiaries to obtain bank loans totaling 400 billion VND.
Specifically, PNJ will guarantee a loan for CAO Fashion Co., Ltd. (CAF) from the Ho Chi Minh City branch of Vietcombank, with a maximum limit of 100 billion VND, and from the Hoc Mon branch of BIDV Bank, with a maximum limit of 300 billion VND.
CAF and PNJP are both subsidiaries of the same company.
On the stock market, PNJ shares have experienced a sharp decline since mid-June, following the initiation of legal proceedings for smuggling 28,000 diamonds and the indictment of several executives and employees of PNJ-Lab. On July 14, the investigative agency also indicted another PNJ-Lab employee in the same transnational diamond smuggling case.
From a price of over 68,000 VND per share in mid-June, PNJ’s stock price has plummeted to 40,900 VND (as of July 16).
