This information was disclosed in an extraordinary disclosure document regarding diamond quality testing, business process audits, and loan guarantees for subsidiaries, which PNJ’s Board of Directors sent today, July 16, to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE).
The company will also hire an independent audit firm to conduct a complete audit of the entire process, from import and manufacturing to the sale of diamonds, including jewelry products with diamond settings.
Additionally, PNJ’s Board of Directors approved the policy of hiring an audit firm to conduct a tax audit for the year 2025 and provide tax advisory services to the company.
PNJ guaranteed a loan of VND 300 billion for PNJ Jewelry Manufacturing and Trading Co., Ltd. from the bank.
Following this incident, Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Dung, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ), on behalf of PNJ Group’s management, apologized to all customers and investors for the incident that affected customer trust.
PNJ’s Board of Directors has approved the policy of hiring reputable international organizations to conduct independent assessments of product quality and internal processes related to the company’s business operations.
Furthermore, PNJ hired a professional and independent consulting firm to evaluate the company’s risk management process.

Recently, PNJ has faced a wave of rumors following the arrest of Mr. Dang Ngoc Thao, former director of the appraisal company P-Lab, in a transnational diamond smuggling case.
In her letter to shareholders, Ms. Dung also emphasized that the company opts for a transparent and consistent approach, respecting the investigation process of the authorities and complying with current legal regulations.
